A Sneak Peek at Treasured Waters - The Indian River Lagoon

This is a sneak peek at Treasured Waters - The Indian River Lagoon a book that will be available on July 17. Florida landscape artist Rick Kelly, and author and ecologist Camille S. Yates teamed up to produce an exquisite book that takes you on a journey down the Indian River Lagoon and surrounding waterways. Kelly created over 75 paintings of different scenes along the Lagoon starting at the northern end with Ponce Inlet and ending at the southern end with Jupiter Inlet. Yates narrated the journey with interesting facts about the Lagoon from the earliest settlers to the devastation caused by the run off from Lake Okeechobee. I have taken a few pictures of the book and will share a few of the beautiful shots from inside.
