Help w/ Orchid ID.. Update.. Doritis pulcherrima var. chumporensis
Over the weekend I found a few pretty sweet deals. One of the finds was this Phalaenopsis orchid with a mini bright yellow and white flower. I am not sure the name of this one, but if you do please fill me in. Here are the pictures of the orchid.

Wow. That's . . . wow. No idea on a name.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful peloric phal! I haven't ever seen anything like it so I can't help with the ID, but it looks unique enough that you might get some ideas. You could always post a picture or a link here from garden web's orchid forum - that group has a ton of knowledge...
ReplyDeleteI enjoy my visits here so much. It is so different than my town. We have the Rock River s short distance away, so we see lots of different birds and plants....but nothing like this. I've never been to Florida...so this visit is really fun. The orchid is beautiful. I have always been drawn to the orchids with tiny blooms but I haven't tried growing them. Maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteMike I have tagged you. Please go to my blog if you feel like it to play along. Cheers.
