A few weeks ago I was doing a moving job for a lady and this poor little orchid was just sitting in a window sill. All dried up and looking very dead. She was going to toss it so I brought it home. All I know about it is the pot has a sticker calling it a Phalaenopsis. I am so upset with myself for not snapping a few shots of it all dried out. Today I just noticed a new spike, cane, stem not sure what it is called yet, growing out of the side of it. In just a few short weeks it back to life. It makes me feel so good to bring plants back after so many years of my life i have spent killing them.
