Armadillo Action

While at Heathcote Botanical Gardens on Wed. doing the weekly volunteer hours, I came across a site that we normally do not see in the daytime. Armadillo's were roaming the garden feeding. I was able to catch a few good shots before they ran away.

  1. I hate to be so cruel but I'm not sure what good these destructive creatures do. Do you know if there is any redeeming quality to them? They wreak havoc in my planting beds with all their persistent rooting around. Honestly I wish them away daily.

  3. I've read that Armadillos really have a bad odor. Do you know if this is true? I've never seen one before--except in photos and of course, my yard art armadillo that I dearly love.

  4. Hi,
Your blog is very entertaining (music) and interesting.Everything is so different in your part of the world. I wondered where you got the visitors by city in your sidebar.I think it is facinating to see where readers are from. I'm an elderly blogger, but love to learn new things. I have so much to learn. Enjoyed my visit again.
