A Day With Nature!

Well really just a few short hours, but it still was a fantastic afternoon. Aaron and myself had finished a few jobs and were scoping out some new fishing holes when we stumbled across a new little wetland area that neither one of us had been to or heard of before. It is located just off the shores of the Indian River Lagoon here in Ft. Pierce Fl.

These are a few of the blooms I encountered. No idea what I 'm looking at on these!

And then I do know 1. This is a Ricinus communis or Castor Bean.

Everglades National Park

After 4 days of fishing in Everglades National Park I am back. Cooler full of fish and lots and lots of pictures. This was an annual fishing trip that my older brother, a friend of his, and myself take. We stay in Everglades City and fish a place called Chokoloskee which is basically the start of the 10,000 islands. It is miles and miles of mangrove islands, oyster bars, grass flats, bays, rivers, and of course the Gulf of Mexico. So there is no shortage of choices to fish. We had a great trip catching lots of snook, red fish, snapper, grouper, and trout. I have a few shots of some of the fish and wild life that I came across along with some scenery pictures.
