Man this has been a great week so far. I got home from work and checked on a 3 gallon nursery pot that i had thrown a bunch of yellow/gold Canary Island Date Palm seeds in that i had collected from a tree back in the end of Nov. 07. And what did I see. You got it. A little strap leaf just breaking the surface. I decided it was time to empty it and their were 20 seedling ready to plant. these are the shots. Finally an excuse to use some of those new tree pots that i have.
Well being born in a paradise like I was here in South Florida I have always taken all of my tropical plants and palms around me for granted. Just recently realizing how lucky I am. I'm going to take full advantage of this tropical climate. This blog is going to show all of my trials and tribulations with growing different species of plants and trees. Feel free to check back regularly and watch my plants grow.
